Meet the Team
Laura
Founder & Director
Hello and welcome to Willow Reform. I’m really looking forward to meeting you and welcoming you into something that is incredibly special to me. For over 10 years, I’ve worked across the teaching and fitness industries, alongside five years in the corporate world. During maternity leave with my daughter, I felt a strong pull to create something of my own — a space built around movement, wellbeing, and community. Willow Reform was created with that vision in mind. A studio centred around Pilates, alongside other fitness and wellness classes, is designed to bring people together and offer something unique to Bridlington.
The name Willow Reform also holds personal meaning. Willow is my daughter’s middle name and symbolises strength, resilience, and flexibility — values that sit at the heart of everything the studio represents. After recently moving to Bridlington and becoming a family of three, creating this studio has been one of the most exciting and meaningful journeys of my life. My daughter is the inspiration behind it all. I can’t wait to welcome you in and share this with you all.
Leigh
Hello, my name is Leigh. I've been teaching Pilates for the last 13 years and have developed a strong and varied skill set during that time. I'm a Level 3 Classical Mat Pilates instructor and have also trained in reformer, Wunda chair, and Cadillac. Alongside this, I've completed additional qualifications in rehabilitation, pre- and postnatal Pilates, as well as many other specialist Pilates courses.
My passion for Pilates began during my own health and wellbeing journey, where I discovered Pilates as part of my rehabilitation. From that moment, my journey with Pilates really began. Pilates is now very much a way of life for me, and I love helping others feel stronger, move better, and experience the many benefits that Pilates can bring.
Alex
Hello, I’m Alex. Alongside my full‑time role as a Special Needs Teacher, I’ve always found joy in staying active. In October 2025, I qualified as a Level 3 Mat Pilates instructor. My love for movement began early with gymnastics and cheerleading, and it continued to grow when I started going to the gym and attending yoga & surf retreats. Those experiences shaped my appreciation for both the physical and emotional benefits of mindful exercise. I aim to bring that same energy into every class I teach, creating uplifting, Pilates flows designed to help people feel strong, capable, and confident. To me, Pilates is more than a workout it’s a space to connect with your body, build resilience, and discover your own potential. My mission is to share this transformative energy with everyone who walks into the studio, encouraging people of all ages and abilities to move with joy and embrace their personal strength.
Becky
Hi, I’m Becky, a qualified yoga teacher, fitness instructor and sports therapist with over 10 years of experience.
I began my career working in gyms around Scarborough, teaching yoga and fitness classes, where I developed a strong foundation in helping people improve their strength, mobility and overall health through movement.
I’m currently the Lead Therapist for the U9–U16 age groups at Hull City Football Academy, where I support young athletes with injury prevention, rehabilitation and performance care. My work combines hands on sports therapy with a holistic approach to wellness, drawing on my background in yoga and fitness to help people move better, recover faster and feel stronger.
I’m passionate about promoting long-term health, balance and performance through effective movement, recovery and wellbeing practices.
Evie
Hi, I’m Evie. I’m a qualified Occupational Therapist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). I started my Occupational Therapy degree in 2020 and qualified in 2023. Alongside my clinical career, I have recently qualified in Level 3 Mat and Reformer Pilates, teaching both group classes and 1:1 session.
My passion for Reformer Pilates began while travelling through South East Asia and Australia, where I discovered the powerful benefits of movement for both physical and mental wellbeing. That experience inspired me to train as an instructor and combine my healthcare background with my love for Pilates.
Through my work as an Occupational Therapist, I have experience supporting a wide range of people, including older adults and individuals recovering from stroke, amputations, fractures and other injuries, as well as those living with long-term health conditions. I bring this clinical knowledge into my Pilates teaching, focusing on improving mobility, balance, strength and posture to support everyday movement.
For me, Pilates is more than just exercise — it’s also a space to connect, socialise and take time for yourself while enjoying a challenging and rewarding workout.
